NEW ZEALAND RETIREMENT VISA INFORMATION
	In October 1998 the then Minister of Immigration announced that he was investigating the possibility of introducing a new Retirement Visa. The investigation was to be completed by February 1999. It is now unclear when the Retirement Visa will be introduced, if ever. The proposed Retirement Visa was to be for older people of independent means who want to spend a significant proportion of their year in New Zealand. We will post the requirements of the new Retirement Visa if it is introduced.
